Guide to the Course Menu on Bb (not all of the following will be applicable to every course)
- Announcements: Course instructors will add new announcements to guide you to any new items, assignments, or updates for the course. Students are responsible for reading all new announcements.
- Faculty Information: contact information for course faculty.
- Syllabus
- Course Documents: Module and Lecture materials. Students will need to check this for any articles, readings, course documents, etc.
- Assignments: Descriptions of assignments. Links to upload assignments. Portfolio Guidelines.
- Discussion Board: Where you will find any questions for discussion in an online course. May find an “Ask Your Professor” forum in some courses where you may post a question for your professor to answer.
- Resources: Guides to APA formats, computer help.
- External Links: JMU Help Desk. Any web resources your professor may want you to review for the course.
- Online Journal: Guidelines will be given for each individual course that requires a journal.
