MSN: Curriculum Components

In addition to completing the graduate core and the advanced practice core, students select a specialty concentration (Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Educator) and complete a portfolio.  Students complete  the family nurse practitioner in 46 credits, and the adult or geriatric nurse practitioner concentration in 43 credits; they complete the nurse educator concentration in 35 credits. Nurse Practitioner  students can complete an optional 3-credit practicum to qualify for dual certification as both adult and geriatric nurse practitioner.
