Study Abroad

Study abroad opportunities provide a rich cultural experience for students.  Often trips enable nursing students in particular to view health care through the lens of a third world country or an industrialized nation with national health care services.  These opportunities are also an option for students to consider when they have an extra semester or two while they await entrance into the nursing program.

Visit the Office of International Programs (OIP) website where you will find information on a wide array of possibilities for international travel.

International Summer Nursing Programs

We also have a number of short-term, inter-professional courses for students from various Health and Health Services majors. Thse programs offer an opportunity to explore international healthcare, nursing care, and human services delivery.
